“Hard work and effort build consistency and confidence.”
At least, that’s what my grandfather always told me.
Growing up in St. Matthews, South Carolina—a small town with a population of fewer than 2,000 people—I quickly realized that I wanted to think bigger than my surroundings. While I appreciated the values my hometown gave me, such as patience, humility, and respect for others, I never allowed the small-town mentality to limit my ambitions. With much of my family being from Queens, New York, I was exposed to different perspectives that encouraged me to dream beyond where I started.
As the youngest of my mother’s children, I’ve always carried one major goal: to make sure my mother can retire comfortably and enjoy the life she deserves. That purpose has fueled every major decision I’ve made.
After graduating from high school, I attended South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina, where I earned a degree in Marketing. Throughout those four years, I developed an entrepreneurial mindset that pushed me to create something of my own. Combining my passion for fashion and business, I launched Baggboy$ Clothing. The brand was growing, but like every business, I quickly learned that success requires continuous investment, sacrifice, and resilience.
Balancing college, work, and building a business taught me something important—I thrive under pressure. I enjoy challenging myself, chasing ambitious goals, and embracing the responsibility that comes with creating success.
Outside of business, I’m someone who enjoys staying active and making the most of life. Whether I’m cheering on the Seattle Seahawks, spending quality time with loved ones, traveling to new cities, or trying different cuisines, I believe every experience helps shape who I become.
I live by the belief that life is what you make it. Anyone can make lemonade when life gives them lemons—but I’d rather make apple juice and leave people wondering how I did it. To me, success isn’t about accepting the circumstances you’re given; it’s about creating opportunities that others never imagined.

Recruiting And Training Manager
Life has always been a race for me, much like an F1 car pushing toward the finish line. My passion for cars, competitive nature, and hunger for success have always fueled my desire to achieve more than what’s expected.
As the oldest of three, I learned early that leadership means setting the standard. Graduating high school a year early reinforced something I’ve always believed: Why follow someone else’s timeline when you’re capable of creating your own?
That same mindset led me into this industry. I wanted more than a traditional 9-to-5. I wanted an opportunity where my growth wasn’t limited, my ambition was an advantage, and my results reflected my effort. There is no speed limit on success when you’re willing to put in the work.
My vision is bigger than a paycheck. I want to build multiple businesses, develop a portfolio of assets, create generational wealth, and establish a legacy that outlives me. More importantly, I want to give my family the freedom to experience the world together. One of my biggest dreams is to visit every country with my family in a single year.
I’ve learned that ambition without discipline is just a dream. Success requires sacrifice, consistency, and the courage to keep moving when the road gets difficult.
My message to anyone reading this is simple: Never let your circumstances determine your destination. Think bigger, move with purpose, and refuse to place limits on your potential.
If you can think it, you can believe it. If you believe it, you can work toward it. And if you’re willing to put in the work, you can make it happen.
Life isn’t about racing against everyone else. It’s about becoming better than you were yesterday.

“I’m not going to stop until I’m my own boss,” was the exact words that I declared when I was 18 years old.
Growing up in Charleston, South Carolina there were many hardships from being in foster care and moving from home to home. When I was 18 I told myself “don’t stop,” because the statistics of being a black female in foster care my future was determined to be slim to none. With the choices of being incarcerated, on the streets or pregnant. I beat the statistics by being the first college graduate in my family.
I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Theatre Arts. I am also certified in mental health first aid for adult and youth. Graduating with Honors and being the first in my family to beat the odds was proof that I was destined to do great things.
I am the youngest of my siblings. I love my family dearly. Being at Tri-State Horizons has provided me the opportunity to overcome difficulties and to be a provider.
Those who once told me I would be just another number in the system was my moment to prove them wrong and show them the woman that I am destined to be.
I like to crack jokes because what is life without laughter. I love helping others. Being raised without someone to understand me I became an advocate for those who needed an ear that will listen to them.

My parents taught me to never give up, believe in myself, and pursue anything I set my mind to. Throughout my journey, I’ve learned that success requires taking chances, embracing opportunities, and trusting the process. Every challenge has taught me the importance of hard work, accountability, and perseverance. I believe growth begins when you step outside your comfort zone, and every experience is an opportunity to become a better version of yourself. A quote I live by: “Never stop growing, never stop believing, and never give up on the person you have the potential to become.”
